PBX reflashing

Symptom: file system is broken on the PBX or the PBX does not switch on.

Solution: perform a reflashing procedure as described below.

Important: this procedure can be applied only to PBXs with Atom Processor (in production since 2015), see the picture below to know whether this procedure can be performed on your PBX.
 

  1. Eject a hard disk drive (HDD) from your PBX system.

    Note: See the picture below to understand what the HDD looks like.

    Important: perform this procedure only if HDD looks like on the picture below!

  2. Connect HDD to your PC using USB mSATA adapter
  3. Donwnload the disk image: https://wildix.com/image_pbx/30112017/WMS_3.86_30112017.img
  4. Use disk dump utility to burn the image to the HDD of your PBX
    The command syntax depends on your OS:
    – dd if=wms.img of=<dev_msata> //pat
  5. Install the HDD back to your PBX and boot the system
