Collaboration Mobile: App for iOS and Android – User Guide

Wildix Collaboration Mobile application provides access to Wildix Unified Communications on iOS and Android (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android smartphones).

Login

  • Domain: PBX IP or domain name

Note: you can enter the PBX name, wildixin.com domain is added automatically

  • User name: Extension or User name or Email address
  • Password: Password for access to Collaboration / WMS

Dialpad

Change status

1 – Tap to change status

It is possible to set up DND/Away, enter the status message, set up the expiry time for status


Select the mode for call generation VoIP/GSM

1 – Tap to switch between VoIP / GSM

In case you select GSM, your request will be sent to the PBX and in several seconds you will receive a callback via GSM network (make sure your mobile number is specified in Collaboration Settings > Personal)

Note: Some 3G operators block the traffic of SIP packets and consequently, the VoIP audio


Call management

During a call you can navigate your device, open the App and tap Dialpad to come back to the active call.

Chat

All the colleagues added to your roster appear in chat.

Chat history sync with Wildix Collaboration is not guaranteed


Contacts

By default all the contacts from your device’s phonebook are displayed in the «Contacts» menu.

To be able to access your PBX contacts, you must setup the Sync of contacts.


History

On Android application call history is synced with the PBX.

iOS

  • Account: login window
    • Domain; user name; password
  • Personal: contact details
    • E-mail; mobile number
  • Features for different call classes (Internal, External, Blacklist, Whitelist)
    • Busy call forward / Unavailable call forward / Force call forward.
      Enter the number or VOICEMAIL
    • Call waiting (receive more than one call at a time).
    • Mobility with timeout (receive incoming calls also to your mobile number).
      Enter the timeout in seconds
  • About: Info about the APP

 

Android

  • Account: login window

  • Personal: contact details

  • Ringtone: select the ringtone
  • Advanced: debug for developer, possibility to enable video by default
